Neglected, Forgotten, Reborn.
We are a 501 C 3, state designated non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Ten Mile River and it's watershed. The original organization was known as the Ten Mile River Watershed Alliance, founded in Attleboro in 1990. The Alliance worked on the preservation of the Ten Mile until 2003. For the next few years, the Ten Mile had no active group looking out for it. The Council was founded in 2006 with a group of people who enjoyed using the River for recreation. The Council works hard to keep the river and forests open, clean, and safe for future generations. We are the voice of the Ten Mile and are dedicated to it's well being.
