Neglected, Forgotten, Reborn.
The Ten Mile River Watershed Council, East Providence Conservation Commission, Providence County Hiking Club, Rumford Lions, and the East Providence Historical Society are all partnering to improve Hunts Mills in and around the river. This is an ongoing project to create and maintain trails on land and water, and to add to an already extensive list of Greenways and Blueways in the area, while maintaining the historic character of the property. The project, which was started on National Trails Day 2015 was made possible by a grant from Narragansett Bay Commission. Thank you to Little Tree NUsery in Seekonk for providing Mountain Laurel shrubs to be planted in theTerrace Garden.
